Will my dresser fit?
A dresser that fits against the wall can still be useless if the bed or a door blocks the drawers from opening. Check it properly on your floor plan: upload the plan, set the scale once, and place the dresser at true size to see the wall space it needs — and the room in front to actually use it.
Add the dresser at its real width and depth and slide it against the wall. Because it is to scale with your plan, you can see whether it fits between the window and the corner, and leave space in front for the drawers to pull all the way out without hitting the bed or a door swing. A typical wide dresser is about 150 cm wide and 50 cm deep; a tallboy is narrower but needs the same drawer clearance in front.
Leave at least 60–75 cm (24–30 in) of clear floor in front of a dresser so the deepest drawer opens fully and you can stand at it. Check that against a nearby bed or door on your plan.
