Will my bed fit in my room?

A bed that fits the wall can still leave no room to open a wardrobe or walk past. ToScale places your bed on your real floor plan at true size so you can see the fit — and the clearance on every side — before you buy.

Upload your floor plan, set the scale once, then add your bed at its real size and drag it against the wall. A double is about 140×190 cm, a queen 150×200 cm and a king 180×200 cm — add nightstands and a wardrobe to check the whole layout works.

Leave at least 60–75 cm (24–30 in) beside a bed to get in and out, and enough room for wardrobe or drawer doors to open fully.

Frequently asked questions

Will a queen bed fit in a small bedroom?
A queen (150×200 cm) fits many small bedrooms, but you need walking space on at least one side and clearance for the door and wardrobe. Try it on your plan to be sure.
How much clearance do I need around a bed?
About 60–75 cm (24–30 in) on the sides you get in from, plus space for any wardrobe or drawer doors to open. ToScale shows these gaps as you place the bed.
